The executive committee has completed the following projects at IDJTA:

  • New automated ball machine (2024) – overseen by Cathy Murray
  • Secure a 10-year lease of the facility with Ipswich City Council (2024) – overseen by Kristy White
  • Increasing junior membership enrolments at IDJTA – committee
  • Purchasing new tennis equipment for coaching – committee
  • Replacement of the court lighting system with new LED lights for courts 1-4 (the bottom courts) (2023) – overseen by Stan Cuthbert, Bill Quirk and Matthew White
  • Replacement of the grass playing surface on the bottom courts (2016) – overseen by Stan Cuthbert and Matthew White
  • Replacement of the poles and electrical cabling for the court lighting system on courts 1-4 to comply with WHS standards (2017) – overseen by Stan Cuthbert, Bill Quirk and Matthew White
  • Replacement of the court nets (2017) – committee
  • Beautification of club facilities with the new gardens and plants (2015) – committee
  • Redevelop the IDJTA website (2015) – overseen by Matthew White
  • Establishing a sprinkler watering system for the gardens (2015) – committee
  • Paving major walkways around the courts (2013) – committee
  • Restoring timbers and external painting of the club house – committee
  • Upgrading and repairing of electrical wiring for the club house – committee
  • Upgrading of lighting for major walkways around the IDJTA center – committee
